October taught me...
Every month I look back and see what I learned, what I accomplished and what I am proud of. This past month was AMAZING.
Personally I had huge growth in myself, learning and trusting in what I am capable of. Professionally I saw milestones created and obstacles overcome, my Alive Fit Family members were rocking it, 9 of them worked out on Halloween, before treat or treating!!! That's commitment! Truly it was remarkable!
In the month of October I created a 30 day challenge where women across the world did the same workout for 30 days straight, we started off slow and progressed to finishing off with a whopping 40 push ups, 40 toe touches and 50 squats!! Now, I need to be honest I've ran these numerous times and by the end there are like 6 "go hard" committed ones. NOT THIS MONTH. The last 3 days 3 women dropped off and that still left 11 women!!!! ELEVEN WOMEN were committed the whole 30 days!!!
To witness the daily support, encouragement and dedication was addictive. I was so excited to see who checked in and how the group supported each other! It was fun! I would say this was the best 30 day challenge yet!!!
I wanted to share with you a couple high lights, in case you missed them and make sure to join us on the next challenge. We are currently doing a November Strong one, 11 days of 11 reps of Lunges, V-Ups and Push Ups in remembrance and appreciation for our veterans and those serving families. Join us here
In the mean time, enjoy these high lights!
I loved seeing the kids involved!
And this Mama right here, took it to a whole new level!
And, showing their children that FITNESS CAN BE FUN!
We also got to see ways that women hold themselves accountable and got inspired to be accountable TOO!
We got to see the REAL meaning of GSD... getting shit done!
And sometimes, little motivation comes from a Wahlberg, it just wouldn't of been the same ;)
And there were the times, the women and I had to TRUST and BELIEVE that this is EXACTLY what our bodies and mind needed in the moment and it's what we did.
Yes we could've sat on the couch, could've enjoyed a cup of coffee, could've done a million other things but we DIDN'T!! We did our challenge, it gave us 5 mins of exercise and strengthened our believes in ourselves!
This 30 day challenge was one that left a lasting impression and left me wanting to do MORE AND MORE. As corny as this may sound, "THESE LADIES ARE ALL WINNERS, IN MY EYES"
Thank you girls for sweating hard, checking in and staying accountable with me.
I can't wait for our next big Challenge (keep an eye out for DECEMBER 1 CHALLENGE!) In the mean time, don't forget to join our November one.
Have a wonderful day, feeling ALIVE!
