Avoid Toxicity in your environment and spirit

I'm sure you are well aware about having toxic chemicals in your home and how to avoid them.

Let me ask you, how about toxic people and energies?

When I had my son I became more aware of what energy I was surrounding him with and who I was surrounding him with. It didn't come the instant he was born, it came when I was put into a situation where I needed to protect my son and learn the toxic affect of people (don't worry we were in no physical danger). He was 5 months old and right there I learned how I could control people in and out of my life and my son's life. It is my responsibility as a Mom to make sure he is safe and healthy. Now, don't think that I bubble wrap my son, I sure don't!

Ever since then, I have been aware of my surroundings/energies and what my "gut" tells me. I've always had a pretty loud gut. If you don't know what I'm talking about, when I refer to my "gut", I like to describe it as that rock in your stomach, that uneasy feeling and the feeling that you know something is not quiet right... but you can't put your finger on it.

I know for the longest time I would pass it off as being something else or would say "it's not that bad" of a situation. Trusting in my gut took me awhile. I challenged it and kept an open heart and mind. Eventually it proved to me, that it was speaking to me (and really, did I need it to prove anything? No...but I was skeptical so I challenged it)

Let me ask you this, when your gut says something OR you know that a person is toxic OR brings you toxic energy.

 What do you do?

I know for me, I try to minimize the situation or the impact of the energy.

I clear my energy by releasing that person or their energy.

I always come from a place of sharing and inspiring and with that, I wanted to share how you can keep your spirit clean just like your environment.

 For example:

  • Avoid cooking in plastic containers - Avoid fake people. Done.
  • Use biodegradable products, water based soaps, eggs packaged in card board, use reusable products, recycle-Be intentional with who you surround yourself with. Be more connected with Mother Nature.
  • Buy less whenever possible - The quantity of people around you, doesn't equal the quality of people around you. Quality relationships/connections is where it's at!
  • Voice your objections about what you are passionate about and this goes about caring about your environment and caring about your spirit.

Being aware of your environment and the toxic levels affecting Mother Nature and your own spirit will educate you more on what's important to your body, mind, spirit and environment.

It's easy to become contaminated with these toxicities and as you become more and more aware of them. I hope each experience strengthens you to say

"You no longer serve me- Peace Out"

Have a wonderful day
